Jumping headfirst into 2018, we're excited to be showing new work at Maison et Objet as part of the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland’s Design Ireland presentation, and once again taking a stand-alone space at Showcase in Dublin.
We will be showing CITYSCAPE | DUBLIN, a series of new studio-made glazes reflecting the city-centre stone, slate, and steel of Dublin, and introducing the first pieces in our new flatware and lighting collections.
We made our home deep in the heart of Dublin, amid the calm and the storm of the fruit and vegetable market, the red of the brick, the inky blue-black of the slate. Building on our first colour collection inspired by the fruit and vegetables we share our street with, and drawing on our heritage and interest in making and crafting cities, for 2018, we're looking up: at the slate and the steel, the brick and the stone; at the cityscape that surrounds us.
As part of this ancient city, with its history written on every corner, we're proud to introduce a colour collection inspired by Dublin's streets: Blue Slate, Black Steel, Copper Green, Portland Stone, Sandstone, and Terracotta.
Taking inspiration from the tessellating architecturally inspired shapes of our core collection, large pendant lights in the glazes of the Market and Cityscape collections are the first pieces in our hand-thrown lighting range.
Eagerly awaited, our plates in both Markets and Cityscape glazes will be available in small, medium, and large, to elevate eating experiences from breakfast right through to dinner.
Find us in Hall 7, Stand F209 at Maison et Objet from January 19th to 23rd where we will be showing a selection of pieces in Markets and Cityscape glazes.
Find us at Stand C30 at Showcase from January 21st to 24th where we’ll be showing our new lighting collection and a selection of pieces in Cityscape glazes.
