2020 Pottery Workshops

We have been running our introductory pottery classes for beginners since 2016. The response is always surprising and heartening. Most students come with no experience and the expectation of having a few bowls made by our first tea break. Our mornings can look chaotic as everyone grapples with centering clay. By the time we return from lunch there is a real sense of determination to master the art of throwing. The room fills up with pots and the potting bug takes hold. 

We’ve responded to a growing demand with variety of pottery classes and now run regular all-day-long weekend throwing classes, 7-weeks evening workshops, handbuilding and glazing classes.
