Arran Street East returns to TENT LONDON with standalone space and new pieces.

Arran Street East returns to TENT LONDON with standalone space and new pieces.

For the first time in its short history, Arran Street East, artisan producer of simple, hand-made and beautiful objects, is showing in a standalone space at Tent London as part of LDF 2016, and will introduce two new products to the range: The Breadboards, and The Pegs.

Building on the success of Ó, the Design & Craft Council of Ireland’s 2015 group show at Tent, Arran Street East returns to London with its range of hand-thrown and hand-made homewares in clean geometric lines, in characterful colours inspired by the Dublin Fruit and Vegetable Market.

As architects in clay, Arran Street East takes time to design things that work, using traditional processes to produce functional products for everyday life.

From the grippable handles to the weight and volume of each pot, the simple forms and complementary-shaped pieces are made to withstand everyday use or as a simple adornment to your home. All are rigorously designed and tested to enhance the experience of eating and drinking.

All is designed and made in the Arran Street East studio in the busy Markets Area of Dublin City Centre, tucked away behind the Victorian Fruit and Vegetable Market Building.

Make Arran Street East one of your stops during LDF, and add some simple, functional, beautiful design to your home.

Stand F30/T1 at Tent London, Old Truman Brewery, London | 22 – 25 September 2016.
